MATT'S STORY
Early Life
Matt Day was born and raised in Southeast Georgia in a blue-collar, conservative Christian family. His parents made their living through a small glass business during the week and a cattle farm on evenings and weekends. From an early age, Matt learned the value of hard work, often putting in 18-hour days. More importantly, his parents instilled in him the belief that God, people, and country must always come first.
Determined to provide him with a strong education, his parents enrolled him in both public and private high schools. After graduation, Matt dreamed of attending school in Atlanta or studying at a Christian university in Jerusalem. His father, however, encouraged him to stay local and prove himself through hard work. Matt honored that direction by attending South Georgia College and East Central Tech School, working his way forward step by step.
Young Adult
Matt built his early life on the principle of keeping his word and doing the jobs others avoided. At one point, he worked two full-time jobs while attending college full-time. That discipline prepared him for 2007, when tragedy struck.
In the same month, Matt’s father died in a tractor accident and his mother was diagnosed with cancer. At just 20 years old, he took over both the family farm and glass business during the same week Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac collapsed, leading to the Great Recession. Times were incredibly hard — he watched his mother survive on Ramen noodles and work nights just to keep the family afloat. Through it all, Matt leaned on his faith and learned to give every burden to God.
First Business – Glaziers on Demand
While pursuing nursing school with hopes of becoming a physician’s assistant, Matt received a vision from God that changed his path and, ultimately, an industry. In 2013, with his family’s last $10,000, he founded Glaziers on Demand.
The company transformed the way America approached labor in the glass and construction industry. Within four years, Glaziers on Demand was employing over 400 glaziers across 40 states, with an average annual payroll of $15 million.
Second Business – Glazier Nation
In 2019, Matt expanded his vision by founding Glazier Nation. This venture took the staffing model beyond glasswork and into all construction trades. From electricians to welders to crane operators, Glazier Nation supported some of the largest construction projects in the nation. The company also invested millions into developing software that provided the construction industry with its own enterprise-level system.
Third Business – ChoreNab
By 2025, Matt launched ChoreNab, applying the same labor model to America’s manufacturing sector. The company grew at record speed, helping U.S. manufacturers compete directly with global giants like China.
From the beginning, Matt knew ChoreNab belonged to his wife, Kaci. She had been his partner in building Glaziers on Demand, traveling the country and serving as VP before stepping away to raise their children. When their kids entered high school, she returned to her calling, and today she proudly serves as CEO of ChoreNab.
Family
In 2024, Matt made the decision to stop constant travel and instead invest in his family. Together, he and Kaci began teaching their two sons and daughter — all in high school — how to run their own businesses. From payroll to QuickBooks, estimating to heavy equipment operation, Matt ensured they learned both management skills and the work ethic needed to succeed.
Why He’s Running for Congress
Matt Day believes that if America is going to change, it must begin with Congress. He is deeply concerned that Washington has become a source of division, driven by political parties, wealthy donors, and elites. He believes Congress should be guided by common sense and service to all Americans — not partisanship or corruption.
Matt is prepared to sacrifice everything — possessions, businesses, and material things — if that is what it takes to win this fight. For him, the greatest gift he can give his wife and children is not wealth, but a future of freedom — a future without fear of war, corruption, or collapse.
